SpaceX is on track for record-setting Starlink deployments

SpaceX deployed 1,589 Starlink satellites in the first half of 2026, 100 more than the same period in 2025. The company launched 3,180 Starlink satellites in all of 2025. Over 12,400 Starlink satellites have been launched since inception, with nearly 11,000 still functioning. Amazon's Leo service has deployed about 400 satellites.
