Google DeepMind built TacticAI, a football-specific AI that predicts player trajectories up to eight seconds into the future using broadcast-style visual data. Experts at Liverpool FC preferred TacticAI's tactical setups 90 percent of the time over original match configurations. DeepMind partnered with Brazilian club Palmeiras.
