Pixar Holds Back Tech for Toy Story 5

Pixar filmmakers deliberately restrained cutting-edge animation technology to preserve the visual style of the 30-year-old Toy Story franchise. Producer Lindsey Collins said the studio avoided advancing so far that characters no longer felt like the same toys. The sequel introduces a new tablet named L as an existential threat.
