Framework will open preorders Wednesday for a new Framework Desktop built around AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495, supporting up to 192GB of unified memory. The mini-ITX machine keeps a single x4 PCIe slot and a Noctua fan, and can ship with Windows 11 or Fedora. Pricing is undisclosed, and AMD's Gorgon Halo chip also appears in HP and GMKtec systems.
