Apple Halts Cheaper Vision Pro Display Project

Samsung Display has scrapped development of the G-VR panel for a lower-cost Apple Vision Pro after Apple shifted strategy toward AI smart glasses. The panel, which used glass-substrate OLEDoS to cut costs, was expected to enter mass production after 2028. Apple's roadmap now shows only two smart glasses products.
