AI should read test failures, not write tests

Writing tests is not the bottleneck in software testing. The real problem is triaging failures, which consumes an engineer-day daily for a mid-sized suite. A failure bundle with history and artifacts enables automated diagnosis. A small supervised model should score evidence, while an agent routes verdicts into four categories: regression, environment, flake, or unknown.
