John Tse of I Build Stuff created an autonomous flying umbrella that hovers above and follows users, shielding them from rain and sunlight. The drone-disguised umbrella uses four propellers on folding arms, a time-of-flight depth camera for 3D tracking, and a Raspberry Pi for processing. It took nearly a year to build.
