BYD Seagull EV gets longer body and upgrades

BYD revealed an updated Seagull EV with a longer 4,205 mm body and a more powerful 95 kW motor. Starting at 69,800 yuan ($10,000) in China, the electric hatch also offers an optional roof-mounted LiDAR and BYD's God's Eye B smart driving system. The Seagull sold over 125,000 units globally through May 2026.
