Databricks launches Genie One AI coworker

Databricks launched Genie One, an agentic AI coworker that automates workflows across business teams. Unlike the original Genie suite's conversational analytics, Genie One acts on behalf of workers by reasoning over structured and unstructured data, including information outside the Databricks platform. CEO Ali Ghodsi said the tool addresses frustrations with existing AI copilots that lack business context.
