Hong Kong police report 1,503 suspicious credit card charges worth over $3.82 million since the iPhone 18 Pro went on sale, all canceled. Commissioner Joe Chow Yat-ming says Apple's online verification was bypassed, letting fraudsters place bulk orders with stolen cards via VPNs. Police asked Apple to review its transaction process before the iPhone Duo launches in October.
