More than 44,000 people filed legal objections under UK GDPR article 21 to stop the NHS Federated Data Platform, which runs on Palantir software, from processing their health records. Campaign group 38 Degrees coordinated the filings. NHS England says it will respond under data protection law. Palantir's seven-year, £330m contract, won in November 2023, faces a break clause decision.
