Tesla Cybertruck is officially the safest pickup, IIHS says

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded the 2025-2026 Tesla Cybertruck crew cab its Top Safety Pick+ designation, making it the only full-size pickup to earn that honor. Structural upgrades after April 2025 enabled strong crash test performance, including avoiding all pedestrian collisions in front crash prevention tests.
