OpenAI COO Brad Lightcap departs to start new venture

Brad Lightcap, OpenAI's Chief Operating Officer, is leaving the ChatGPT maker to "start something new," he announced Tuesday. He said he's "not going far" and the venture involves "a few important new things the world will need to get right" as AI becomes more powerful.
