At OpenAI DevDay, OpenAI launched Dots, a personal assistant where each Dot gets its own Linux virtual computer in the cloud, plus GPT-6.1 Sol, the Agents API with Computer Use, and the Decisions API. Ari Weinstein said GPT-6.1 Sol costs a fifth of Astra and a seventh for Computer Use. The Decisions API is a smaller, faster model without reasoning, currently a Luna wrapper.
