Rivian CEO on Cybertruck, Luce, and R2 Stakes

Rivian lost $3.6 billion in 2025 and has burned nearly $25 billion over eight years. The company needs its new R2 SUV to sell in large numbers. Volkswagen committed up to $5.8 billion to a joint venture, and Uber will invest up to $1.25 billion for 50,000 robotaxis.
