Anduril and Archer unveil Thunder attack rotorcraft

Anduril and Archer Aviation unveiled Thunder at the Farnborough International Airshow, a Group 5 autonomous attack rotorcraft built on a dual-use platform. The series hybrid-electric tiltrotor is a clean-sheet design, not a modified air taxi, with first flight planned for 2027. Archer will announce commercial customers for the civilian variant later this week.
