PHP2Shell fixes address PHP 8.2 to 8.5, leaving 884,000 internet-facing hosts on unsupported versions as of October 20. While 59% of roughly 1.5 million hosts reveal these versions, about 740,000 more hide them. CISA advises taking unsupported systems offline until patches for 8.4 or 8.5 are applied before December 31, 2026.
