Base44 launched Base1, its first proprietary AI model for building apps from plain-language descriptions. The Tel Aviv startup trained Base1 on tens of millions of real user interactions. Founder Maor Shlomo founded the company in 2024 and sold it to Wix for $80 million six months later.
