China achieves record NEV share, exports drive growth

China sold nearly 1.5 million battery-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids in May, a record 56.9% of total vehicle wholesale sales. Exports drove growth, with 446,000 NEVs exported, a 110% increase year-on-year. Production reached 1.554 million units, up 22.4% from last year.
