Check Point Software drops 8% on mixed results

Check Point Software shares closed 8.2% lower after mixed second quarter earnings. Adjusted earnings of $2.55 per share beat estimates by 10 cents, but revenue of $674 million missed guidance. Product revenue declined 14% year-over-year, while subscription revenue grew 12%.
