Gravis Robotics AG raised $200 million from SoftBank Group Corp., the largest-ever Series A for a construction robotics startup. Founded in 2022 out of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, the company builds software-defined self-driving systems to retrofit heavy excavators.
