Google Phone App Gets Gradient Icon Redesign

Version 246 of Phone by Google receives a redesigned gradient icon in the beta channel today. The handset appears larger with flatter, lighter colors and a removed dark blue shade. Google states the app icon is now crisper, clearer, and designed to look sharp on the home screen.
