France Prepares DNS Blocks for Social Media

Two days before the October 24 demonstration, Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu ordered Orange, SFR, Free and Bouygues Telecom to prepare temporary DNS blocks for TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and X. This follows a 2024 measure in New Caledonia that was later rejected by the Council of State.
