Switching to own router made no difference

An XDA editor replaced an ISP-provided Asus router from 2018 with a TP-Link Archer BE230 Wi-Fi 7 router on a 500 Mbps fiber plan. Speed tests showed no noticeable improvement in wireless performance. The upgrade did not change the connection despite the newer hardware.
