Benchmarking Opus 5 on SlopCodeBench

Opus 5 achieved a 24% strict pass rate on a subset of SlopCodeBench, only slightly above Opus 4.6's 17%. None of the three tested models completed any challenge without defects. Opus 5 wrote five times more functions than Opus 4.8.
