Check Point Zero-Day Exploited in Targeted Attacks

Attackers exploited an unknown flaw in Check Point's Security Management Server in targeted attacks on July 23. CVE-2026-93616, rated 9.8, lets an unauthenticated attacker run scripts on the server controlling firewall policies. Check Point released a fix on September 22. Separately, attackers have targeted Spark firewall customers through a VPN flaw since September 12.
