Kimi launched K3, an open-weight multimodal model with 2.8 trillion parameters and one million tokens of context. In internal benchmarks, K3 approaches Claude Fable 5 and GPT 5.6 Sol while beating Opus 4.8 and GLM 5.2. The model is significantly pricier than its predecessor. Full weights release by July 27.
