Geely's 2.2MW EV chargers, announced last week, are already operating in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Ningbo, Jiaxing and Xi'an, with 15,000 sites planned by end of next year. Meanwhile EVgo delayed its 750kW US charger from 2026 to 2027, leaving America far behind China's megawatt charging rollout.
