French banking giant Crédit Agricole rolls out euro stablecoin, EURXT

Crédit Agricole, through its asset servicing arm CACEIS, launched the EURO eXchange Token (EURXT), a euro-pegged stablecoin on Ethereum. The token has 20.02 million units in circulation, backed 1:1 by euro reserves at CACEIS Bank, and targets institutional investors and tokenized fund access.
