Companies Use Tariff Refunds for Worker Bonuses

Following the Supreme Court's invalidation of Trump's IEEPA tariffs, over $100 billion in import taxes is being refunded to U.S. importers. Some companies, including TJX, are allocating portions of these refunds to employee bonuses and incentive compensation. This move comes after tariffs were found to have suppressed wage growth and reduced manufacturing jobs by over 100,000 during Trump's second term.
