Russia fines Apple $52M over state app demands

Russia proposed a $52 million fine against Apple for discriminating against state-backed apps and not pre-installing them on iPhones. The Federal Antimonopoly Service demands Apple include Max messenger and Russian search engines by July 15. Apple has not sold products in Russia since March 2022.
