Progress Software confirmed a high-severity path traversal zero-day vulnerability caused the emergency shutdown of ShareFile Storage Zone Controllers. The flaw affects all 5.x and 6.x versions. Progress released versions 5.12.5 and 6.0.2 to patch the issue and stated no customer data was breached.
