AI minister shuns ChatGPT for ministerial business

UK AI minister Kanishka Narayan has not used ChatGPT, Claude, or other popular AI chatbots for ministerial business since taking office in September, per a Freedom of Information request. Technology Secretary Liz Kendall also has not used such tools for official work since her appointment in September 2025.
