Auto firms may trade BEE credits for fuel norms

The power ministry introduced a credit trading system for Corporate Average Fuel Efficiency standards. Manufacturers can trade excess compliance credits and purchase them from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. The framework includes credit and debit accounting for manufacturers who surpass or miss targets.
