A Russian-speaking threat actor known as "bandcampro" used Google's open-source Gemini CLI AI tool to control an eight-device botnet at a dental clinic. The AI assisted with password guessing, WordPress access, and migrating command-and-control infrastructure in six minutes. The setup contained all components in three plain-text files totaling roughly 5 KB.
