Salesforce cuts 86 jobs, buys m3ter, buys back $50B stock

Salesforce laid off 86 employees from its San Francisco office, its second round of layoffs this year. The same day, it announced the acquisition of m3ter, its 13th deal in 13 months. The company is also executing a $50 billion share buyback after shares lost over 30 percent of their value.
