Spotify will label AI-generated artist profiles with an "AI Persona" badge starting mid-September, excluding them from editorial and algorithmic recommendations unless followed. Artists can self-disclose, while Spotify will also mark suspected profiles as "Likely AI Persona" with appeal options.
