Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar asked Google and Apple to remove Rapido's app from their stores to shut down unlicensed bike taxis. This follows a pending aggregator licence application filed on August 11. RTO inspectors booked a ride on October 16, and an FIR was registered against Roppen Transportation Services last week.
