Cloudflare Acquires Deno for Workers Platform

Cloudflare announced Friday it acquired Deno to extend its Workers cloud computing platform. Ryan Dahl and Bert Belder will lead a new effort to make self-hosting supported. Deno raised $26 million previously. The deal impacts existing users as Deno Deploy shuts down within six months while the runtime remains open source for one year.
