Rain Files Trust Bank Charter Application

Stablecoin infrastructure provider Rain filed an application Monday with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish Rain National Trust Bank in New York. CEO Farooq Malik stated the move aims to provide fiduciary custody for digital assets and dollars. Former Square Financial Services CFO Brandon Soto will serve as president and CEO subject to review.
