Designer Builds 3D Renderer Plugin for Figma

Staff Product Designer Aleksei Kipin created Depth, a Figma plugin that renders 3D models directly within the design tool. The plugin uses Three.js to handle models, lighting, and materials, eliminating the need to switch to external software like Blender for quick previews. It supports camera adjustments, material changes, and environment lighting, returning high-resolution PNG renders to the Figma canvas.
