Microsoft Sets 2029 End for IE Mode in Edge

Microsoft has notified IT administrators that Internet Explorer mode in Edge, the last way to run IE's Trident engine on current Windows, will be supported through at least the end of 2029. The company promises at least one year's notice before any end date, giving organizations time to migrate IE-only applications.
