A Home Assistant installation with 317 entities across 27 domains had only three automations running. Claude Code audited the system and found 145 of 147 sensors doing nothing, plus a self-inflicted automation bug. The audit surfaced silent backup failures, high CO2 levels, and orphaned device records.
