Dublin-based AI IP start-up Midnight Labs backed by Sony

Sony Innovation Fund invested an undisclosed amount in Dublin-based Midnight Labs, an AI-powered copyright protection platform. The funding will expand Midnight's agentic Enforcement Engine to combat mass piracy, deepfakes, and AI-generated infringement in US and Japanese markets. Midnight has removed over 2.8 billion pieces of infringing content since its 2025 founding.
