This fall, Mastercard partnered with AI company Flybits and credit card issuer Rogers Bank to complete its first Canadian transaction through Agent Pay. The test verified that an AI agent could legitimately make a purchase on a customer's behalf within a $500 budget, confirming the technology works for secure agentic commerce.
