Databricks acquires cyberattack detection startup Panther

Databricks acquired Panther Labs, a startup with an AI platform for detecting cyberattacks. Panther filters noise from telemetry streams to reduce data collection costs and enables customers to create threat detection code using natural language prompts. The company was valued at $1.4 billion in 2021.
