FCC Grants Matic Robovac Waiver

On October 2nd, the FCC added the Matic model 4MA0001 and its charging dock 4DK0008 to its ban waiver list. Although Matic assembles robots in Mountain View, California, it sources 65 percent of components from foreign suppliers. CEO Mehul Nariyawala notes production rose from 1,500 to 17,000 units annually.
