Montage Mass-Produces Fifth-Gen DDR5 RCD Chip

Montage Technology has started mass production of its fifth-generation DDR5 Registering Clock Driver, RCD05, for RDIMM modules in data centers and AI servers. The chip meets the JEDEC DDR5 RCD05 spec and supports up to 8,000 MT/s, roughly 11% faster than the previous RCD04, with integrated low-jitter PLL, CTLE equalization and ZQ calibration.
