Anurag Singh installed Debian on an Android phone using Termux and PRoot without rooting. The setup ran Neovim, tmux, Git, Python, Node.js, and Claude Code. A Node.js project cloned, built, and served normally. Claude Code built a media-processing Python script using FFmpeg and ImageMagick. The phone got closer to replacing a laptop than conventional Android apps have.
