Airbnb Launches CASTLE Search Framework

Airbnb researchers present CASTLE, a framework for natural language search, at the 35th ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management in 2026. The system jointly generates synthetic queries and relevance labels from de-identified booking data to solve the cold-start problem.
